The Role: As a traveling installer, you’ll be responsible for assembling, disassembling, positioning, and setting up furniture, and modular office systems across various client locations. The installer is tasked with following directions from Lead Installer or Project Coordinator to contribute to the execution of any given office furniture installation project. The installer will work on the job site 90% of the time. Must be willing to travel across the tri-state area days, nights, and sometimes weekends. Installers are diligent, hard-working, flexible, outgoing, and professional. Must work great with teams and follow directions well.Key Responsibilities: • Assemble, disassemble, and configure modular office furniture, workstations, desk, chairs and more. • Set up client spaces according to blueprints or floor plans. • Load and unload items using dollies, ramps, and straps. • Construct office furniture - measure, count, level posts, install panels, fasten hardware to surfaces and walls, lift and maneuver components • Perform light repairs and organize workspaces for efficient installations. • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.Requirements and skills: • Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. repeatedly and work in a physically active environment. • Experience using hand tools and power tools and measuring instruments is essential for complex assembly tasks. • Strong communication skills-especially in listening and following directions from leads, always remaining professional and team-oriented. • Previous experience in furniture installation, moving, or logistics preferred. • Craftiness, creativeness, and on the job decision-making ability should obstacles arise • Reliable transportation • Standard power tools and bits • Must have a reliable smartphone with data to access job-related app while in the field. Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus. Furniture Installation Experience (Preferred)
