Housing Authority of Paterson Director of Finance in Paterson, New Jersey
Reports to the Executive Director,- responsible for managing staff functions to establish and maintain consistent application of processes and procedures in the following areas: accounting, financial controls, budgeting, financial reporting, procurement and contracting, information technology and management systems. Will manage all aspects of the Housing Authority’s financial programs in accordance with HUD rules and regulations. Develop, coordinate, and implement financial policies, procedures, and plans as well as comprehensive system for the analysis, evaluation, and synthesis of financial data to provide management with effective financial control. Demonstrate strong cognitive ability in assessing and evaluating problems; will apply all rules and regulations to provide order, fairness and equality and contribute towards the achievement of the Authority’s goals and objectives.
