Labella Associates Heavy Equipment Operator in Patchouge, New York

We are currently seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to support our Remediation Construction program. Duties for this full-time position will include operation of a variety of heavy equipment and various other tasks on environmental cleanup and restoration projects.

Duties:

Operation of various types of heavy equipment including excavators, bull dozers, front end loaders and skid steers Excavation, trenching, and grading Removal of underground storage tanks Perform preventative maintenance on company owned and rental equipment Work safely in accordance with OSHA standards and company safety policies Other duties or responsibilities, as assigned Requirements A minimum of 5 years of heavy equipment operating experience 40 HAZWOPER training preferred but not required at time of hire High school diploma or equivalency Experience with environmental remediation projects Must have a valid driver license and be able to pass a criminal background check Must have reliable transportation Good mechanical aptitude OSHA 10 hour or 30 hours construction safety training and confined space entry training are preferred Commercial Driver License a plus Salary Range: $30 - $40 per hour
