PROGRAM SITE: Bay Shore High School is the tentative location, dependent on contract and budget approval

Registration Days

8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Classes

July 8 - August 13

Monday to Thursday

7:20 a.m. – 11:25 a.m.*

Last Day of Classes August 13 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Regents Prep, Exam & Scoring

August 17 - 21

Hours for these dates will be based on student need.

(*30 minutes of prep may be added to day if needed. Additional hours required Administrative approval.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designs, implements, and supports student learning objectives and outcomes in an engaging way to meet the needs of all students

• Aligns instructional content and lesson plans to meet the NYS Regents examination in August and/or Final Examination

• Provides consistent classroom student management throughout the duration of the Regional Summer School Program

• Communicates with all staff, administrators, and parents/guardians as needed.

• Ability to read and implement IEPs and effectively support special education students

• Ability to work collaboratively with administrators to support student learning and program goals

THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES

START DATE: July 1, 2026

SALARY: $51.90/hour (requires FULL attendance)

• May have the opportunity to teach two (2) sections

• Regents assignments may create the opportunity for additional pay

Job Qualifications

• Appropriate NYS Certification required
