Substitute Special Education Aide:
Responsibilities
Care for the physical needs of students with moderate to severe disabilities, including but not limited to students with autism, emotional disabilities, intellectual disabilities, orthopedic impairments, or multiple disabilities.
Work under the direct supervision of a teacher or other professional supervisor
Provide assistance to students in completing assigned projects
Transport and accompany student to activities and physically participate as necessary
May perform various record keeping tasks
Location
Various Eastern Suffolk BOCES locations in Suffolk County
