Patchogue-Medford School District Physical Education Teacher in Patchogue, New York
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with colleagues and utilize various curriculum resources to create objective-based lessons aligned to current NYS learning standards.
Actively engage students in the delivery of high-quality instruction.
Differentiate instruction to meet the academic needs of all students.
Utilize data to inform instructional decisions.
Establish a supportive classroom environment that provides for the social-emotional learning of all students.
Grade student work and maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and grades.
Effectively communicate with parents and students regarding academic progress.
Attend required meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
Provide instruction that reflects the diverse educational, cultural and linguistic backgrounds of the students served.
Job Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess or be eligible for New York State Certification in Physical Education
