What you will do:
Comply with all role specific SHEQ obligations.
High level use and understanding of 3D CAD / REVIT / NAVIS works / REVITSO software and standards.
Proficient with Dynamo BIM Scripting software.
Coordination of 3D interdisciplinary BIM software, review and checking.
Produce accurate and timely BIM drawings and models to agreed deadlines. Understand BIM requirements and implement suitable BIM protocols.
Ensure that accurate drawings and registration systems are produced according to supplied specifications and applicable standards, internal and external.
Maintain technical standards as per contractual obligations including control the numbering, sorting, filing, storing and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents produced by technical teams, projects or departments.
Responsible for delivery; taking ownership of projects tasks
Delivery of project tasks on-time ensuring you maintain contact with project leads
Develop and maintain client relationships.
Management of communication and quality process with CRC.
Build the technical capability of others and transferring technical expertise within the organisation.
Supervise staff and managing small teams and mentoring/training junior team members.
Contribute to the development of the business unit against defined strategic goals
What we will love about you:
Diploma of Engineering, Advanced Diploma of Engineering, or studying bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Typically, 4-6 years’ experience specifically in the Communications/ICT, Security and Audio Visual disciplines.
High level drafting & detailing skills.
Prepares engineering drawing deliverables from sketches, calculations and/or specifications.
Highly skilled in design & Coordination on small to medium sized projects.
High level use and understanding of design software.
Input to design resolution in a team effort with engineering team.
Advanced knowledge of BIM and design led BIM within WSP Property disciplines, project models and appreciation of multidisciplinary BIM process.
Competent in preparation techniques for 4/5D modelling.
Conversant in all manners of Construction Methodology & Project Delivery methods.
Working knowledge of WSP's organisational capability and how to access it.
Working knowledge of systems, procedures and practices.
Working knowledge of organisational approach to risk management, ethics and safety.
