Job Description Summary This position is responsible for hand stacking cases in railcars. They remove debris from freezers and clean other areas in shipping and outside loading areas Job Description DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following: • Hand stacks cases in railcars. • Sweep and clean debris out of freezers including gutters. • Hand palletizes line flow when instructed. • Hand load rail cars when instructed. • Clean truck ramps. • Sweep and clean debris from loading docks. • Stack and sort pallets. • Perform empty space inventory in the freezers. • Remove debris from outside truck and rail loading areas. • Perform general accounting of case counts on pallets for load out • Participate in Behavior Based Observations and Hazard ID's as instructed by Team Leader. • Actively practice and abide by all company work, safety and personal hygiene rules and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook. • Maintain good housekeeping in his/her assigned area including following/auditing 5S practices. • Utilize and inspect Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per company policy and notify Sanitation Team Leader, Team Leader or Lead if replacement is required. Per specific customer request, will be required to wear additional PPE. • Participate in Behavior Based Observations and Hazard ID's as instructed by Team Leader. • Actively practice and abide by all company work, safety and personal hygiene rules and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook. • Maintain good housekeeping in his/her assigned area including following/auditing 5S practices. • Utilize and inspect Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per company policy and notify Sanitation Team Leader, Team Leader or Lead if replacement is required.
