Job Title: Service Technician Job Description
Join our team as a Service Technician, where you can utilize your existing skills, learn about our business, and grow professionally. The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while troubleshooting and servicing buildings in the field efficiently. This role involves conducting service calls related to HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry, explaining repairs and services to customers, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct service calls related to HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry within the branch territory.
Explain repairs and services to customers courteously, both over the phone and in person.
Maintain a safe working environment and practice safe working habits, including complying with client safety standards on-site.
Perform duties outside normal responsibilities as needed, contributing to team efforts.
Essential Skills
Safety practices and HVAC knowledge.
Plumbing and carpentry skills.
Ability to handle hand tools and repair construction issues.
Field service experience.
High School diploma or GED.
Carpentry knowledge and experience.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience.
Knowledge and experience with HVAC equipment and appliances.
Appropriate licenses as required by law for HVAC duties.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer knowledge.
Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, salespeople, contractors, shop personnel, and colleagues.
Ability to read and follow directions and blueprints.
Ability to lift 60 lbs or more.
Facilities maintenance and custodial experience.
Safety-minded with shipping and receiving experience.

Work Environment
This role involves working both indoors and outdoors, sometimes with climate control. You may work individually or with a lead technician. Currently, only one other person is on-site. The company provides modular trailers for construction sites and fosters a collaborative and safe environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PASCO, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.80 - $34.85/hr.
