Job Title: Service Technician Job Description
As a Shop Technician, you will perform various testing, repair, and maintenance activities on forklifts and other equipment under the guidance of a supervisor. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills through training classes and contribute positively to the dealership's customer experience while collaborating effectively with all departments.
Responsibilities
Diagnose unit problems accurately.
Attend and participate in all service-related meetings.
Complete and submit paperwork to the Service Manager in a timely manner, ensuring it is legible, complete, and includes customer signatures on required documents.
Submit paperwork with detailed data from unit diagnosis, explaining faults found and listing safety and mechanical issues, ensuring this information is shared with the customer and confirmed by their signature.
Communicate regularly with the Service Manager, Parts Department, and CSS to build and maintain reliable, positive relationships.
Support the Parts Department by allowing time for stock order parts, providing correct unit and attachment information for ordering, maintaining organized shop inventory, and utilizing critical parts orders promptly.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
