The Opportunity with McKinstry McKinstry is looking to add a SeniorConstructionProject Engineerto ourData Center Innovations team in Pasco, WA.You will be joining an established and diverse team where you will be able to make an immediate impact. Project Coordination As aSenior Project Engineer, you will support the Request for Proposal (RFP) and procurement process along with tracking current and future jobs, reviewing contracts, drawings, and specifications. You will also beassistingwith scheduling,assistingin the development of the scope of work with subcontractors, andassistingin the preparation of monthly financial reporting. To be successful in this position, you must havea strong senseof ownership and be technically sound. Communication: As aSenior Project Engineer, you will be expected to communicate with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners. You mustpossessthe ability and confidence to interact with leaders within the industry. You will work closely with our project management team to solve problems andwill gainhands-on experience in the field. Documentation: This role will be tasked with creating and responding to requests for information (RFI).You will develop, process, and track equipment, materials, and informational submittals, as well as process change orders, create billing breakdowns, and conduct estimates. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or comparable degree preferred, or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of construction conceptspreferred. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, estimatespreferred. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suiterequired,working knowledge of Salesforce,ViewPointandAccubidpreferred. The pay range for this position is$36.48 - $55.77per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
