GRIGG ENTERPRISES INC Accounts Payable Specialist in Pasco, Washington
Grigg's Ace Hardware in Pasco has a full-time Accounts Payable position available. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of accounting experience, demonstrate a proven ability to follow instructions, and possess excellent attention to detail. With the ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced office environment, excellent time management and organizational skills are essential.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Efficiently and accurately execute payments to vendors for approval by the store owner
- Answers phones as needed in a friendly, professional manner
- Files disbursement copies with P.O.s, invoices and all back up daily
- Monitors and resolves open purchase orders in conjunction with Department Managers and Vendors
- Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
- Audits, reconciles, and processes all credit card bills
- Audit of Gun forms to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Maintain accurate vendor information and updated W-9s
- Assists in the receiving of inventory, verifying packing slip information matches the purchase order, and resolving any discrepancies with vendors
- Effectively communicates with all levels of management, employees, customers, and other business contacts as well as the outside community
- Performs related clerical duties, such as Excel spreadsheet maintenance, maintaining email account, filing, faxing, and photocopying.

Requirements:
- Associate's degree in accounting, or equivalent
- At least 2 years of accounting experience
- Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Some weekends may be required.
Pay: $19.50 - $24.00/hr. DOE
