Anderson Gardens Landscape & Lawn Care Crew Supervisor in Pascagoula, Mississippi
Anderson Garden, the premier garden center and professional landscaping company on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, is seeking a driven and experienced Landscape & Lawn Care Crew Supervisor. This is a working leadership role for a professional who takes serious pride in their craft. The ideal candidate will direct daily field operations, manage a crew of landscape and lawn care technicians, ensure top-tier quality control on every property, and serve as the on-site face of our company.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and work alongside a crew to complete daily lawn maintenance routes and high-end landscape installations on schedule.
Train crew members on proper, safe equipment operation (commercial zero-turn mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, and hand tools) and correct landscaping techniques.
Manage daily job routing and ensure the crew clocks in/out accurately and reviews all property-specific notes in our routing software (Yardbook).
Enforce quality control by conducting final walkthroughs on every property and ensuring detailed before-and-after photos are taken.
Safely drive company trucks with loaded enclosed or open equipment trailers to and from job sites.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients on-site to answer questions or address concerns.
Ensure all trucks, trailers, and equipment are fueled, maintained, and securely stored at the end of each day.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of commercial landscaping and turf management experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory, foreman, or crew lead role.
Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record is strictly required. Must have proven experience safely backing up and maneuvering trucks with heavy trailers.
Tech Skills: Comfortable using smartphone applications for scheduling, time tracking, and job notes.
Leadership: Strong communication skills with the ability to manage crew performance, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive, high-energy team culture.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, lift 50+ pounds consistently, and work long hours outdoors in the Mississippi coastal heat.
