Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate and skilled Behavior Technicians to join our school-based team for the 2026 academic year. This floater/fill-in role is perfect for professionals who enjoy dynamic environments and love supporting a variety of students and classrooms throughout the day.
Locations:
Serving multiple school districts across California, including:
Glendale
Monrovia
Burbank
Pasadena
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | Approximately 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Employment Type:
Full-Time or Part-Time
Pay Range:
$22–$25/hour
Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and classroom-based behavioral support to students with varying needs
Assist with daily routines including participation, grooming, meals, and toileting
Support mobility and classroom transitions throughout the school day
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and encourage student independence
Respond to behavioral challenges using evidence-based ABA strategies
Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
Complete accurate documentation of services, incidents, and progress
Communicate consistently with the Amergis team for scheduling and updates
Adapt to changing assignments and school needs with professionalism
