A Typical Day
Develop Business Requirements for Recurring Reports Including Budget Scorecards and Monitoring Reports. Collaborate with business and technology teams to build and maintain budget scorecards and performance reports, using statistical modeling to set budget goals and monitor loan performance. Develop data management tools, analyze data across business lines, and create a framework for data extraction and interpretation. Apply technical analytical skills and business intelligence to generate innovative data reports. Analyze Mortgage Data and Reports to Identify Trends, Data Anomalies, and Opportunity Areas. Build and validate statistical models to assess portfolio metrics, such as default and delinquency rates, and provide monthly performance updates. Support senior analysts and management by calculating financial ratios, assessing client creditworthiness, and verifying compliance with loan policies. Automate data ingestion and reporting processes using Python and SQL, enabling self-service reporting and ad-hoc data queries across departments. Prepare Effective Visual Presentations to Share Reporting, Observations, and Recommendations with Senior Management. Develop presentations summarizing key findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Maintain and update monthly reports, validating data and predictive models, and compile results in a PowerPoint deck for senior management. Stay informed on industry trends and risks and use mortgage and statistical expertise to clarify assumptions and provide data-driven justifications in analyses. Write, Communicate, and Vet new Reporting Workflow. Document data fields and create a data dictionary for stored procedures in SQL. Test and verify new reports against existing data, perform regression tests for consistency, and present findings to stakeholders and senior management. Position also supervises 5 employees.
What You’ll Bring
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics or related field, plus six (6) months of post-baccalaureate experience as a Data Analyst or in a related position. Experience must include statistical analysis, predictive modeling, SQL, R, Tableau, Python, Snowflake, Microsoft Suite, and Google Suite. Position also supervises 5 employees.

Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
