Amergis Behavior Technician - School in Pasadena, California
Pay: $21–$25/hour (paid weekly)
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring School Aides to support students and teachers in school-based settings. This role is ideal for compassionate, reliable individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact in the classroom.
Responsibilities
Support students individually and in classroom settings
Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
Help students with personal care needs, including hygiene, meals, toileting, and mobility as needed
Provide supervision to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
Support students during transitions and behavioral challenges
Communicate effectively with school staff and Amergis team members
Document services and observations as required
Requirements
High school diploma (required)
Previous experience working with children or in a school setting (preferred)
Strong communication skills and a positive, patient demeanor
Ability to follow school policies and student care plans
Current CPR certification, TB test, and Health Certificate (as required)
Successful completion of onboarding and background clearance
