Our client, a leader in manufacturing and precision machining, is seeking a dedicated EDM/CNC Machine Operator II to join their dynamic team. As an EDM/CNC Machine Operator II, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ
Pay Range: $27.28
What's the Job?
Set up and operate CNC and/or EDM machines to perform machining operations, including fast hole drilling and graphite shaping on metal castings, forgings, and bar stock according to specifications and set-up instructions.
Study work instructions and mechanical drawings to determine machining requirements, dimensional specifications, and work procedures.
Install work holding devices such as blocks and tooling on machine tables, and position workpieces securely for machining.
Select and install tooling, place electrodes in automatic-tool-changer, and verify program accuracy at the start of each shift.
Inspect first-run pieces, record key dimensions, and ensure conformance to specifications using precision measurement tools.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience with machine operation, assembly, or equipment maintenance.
Comfort working with tools and following detailed manufacturing instructions.
Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willingness to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, shoes, gloves, and gowns.
