We are looking for a highly skilled (10+ yrs) Senior Legal Counsel to join our team FULLY ON-SITE in Parsippany, New Jersey. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in corporate law and commercial contracts within the manufacturing industry. As a key member of the legal department, you will play a pivotal role in negotiating, drafting, and managing contracts while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and revise a variety of commercial contracts to support business operations.

• Lead contract negotiations with internal and external stakeholders to achieve favorable terms.

• Provide legal guidance on corporate law matters, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address contractual and legal concerns.

• Identify potential risks in agreements and propose effective solutions to mitigate them.

• Maintain accurate records of contracts and legal documents for future reference.

• Advise senior management on legal strategies and implications of business decisions.

• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and other legal obligations.

• Conduct legal research to stay updated on changes in laws impacting the manufacturing industry.

• Support the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Licensed US attorney with active US credentials and in good standing.

• Proven direct experience (10+ yrs) in commercial contract drafting/negotiation and business counseling in law firms or in-house.

• Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal principles.

• Experience working in the manufacturing or related industries is preferred.

• Fluency in Mandarin is a HUGE plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

• Ability to identify risks and provide practical legal solutions.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Proficient in legal research and analysis.
