United Parcel Service General Services Co. seeks Senior Software Quality Engineer in Parsippany, NJ:Job Duties: Conduct quality assessment (QA) development processes. Develop and implement new practices and testing standards. Contribute to project design. conducts comprehensive testing and risk-based assessments of the testing objects. leads testing components of large and complex projects, assigns tasks, provides direction to resources, and reports progress to project stakeholders. Maintain an awareness of emerging technologies to ensure a competitive advantage. Automate test scenarios and expected outcomes. Develop test solutions. Automation testing and reporting. Defect Management. Agile tools and ceremonies. Provide expertise in testing across the QA organization. Partial telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from company office in Parsippany, NJ.Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.Special Skill Requirements: (1) Jira; (2) Azure; (3) implementing CI/CD processes; (4) Functional, Non-Functional, System, Integration and Regression Testing; (5) Test automation using shell scripting; (6) API testing and Black box testing; (7) Apache Maven; (8) VersionOne; (9) establishing infrastructure; (10) implementing end-to-end features. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Partial telecommuting is an option.
