GAF Manager Operations Research & Network Optimization in Parsippany, New Jersey
Provide technical expertise, strategy, and leadership across all advanced analytics ap-plications and tools (Llamasoft, TM1, Tableau, OLAP, Alteryx, and SQL) to develop automated standard reporting, advanced performance reporting/tools, data visualizations, supply chain models, network strategy analysis, and predictive analytics for all of Supply Chain;Drive improvements to advanced analytics tools and applications through collaboration with Supply Chain Core Analytics, IT, BI, and the extended Supply Chain teams to identify gaps, prioritize enhancements, and roll-out changes to GAF analytical platforms (TM1, OLAP, Tableau) and native reporting within 3rd party applications (CarrierPoint, GVP, TTC);Master network modeling analysis through strategic sourcing projects and initiatives. Enable technology (Llamasoft) and other tools to enhance analytics processes to deliver value to all of the Supply Chain;Provide leadership and expertise related to network modeling strategies and sensitivity analyses to drive business decisions across strategic projects including sourcing optimization, distribution optimization, facility selection, inventory strategy & allocations, production capability changes, and acquisitions;Strengthen organizational capabilities in the area of advanced analytics and business intelligence by managing and developing the network optimization capabilities within the Integrated Supply Chain team;Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to identify opportunities through analysis and reporting and support the needs of the business; Enhance the decision making process in the areas of purchasing, procurement, private fleet, rail, outbound/inbound transportation, planning, and network strategy through data-driven analysis, reporting solutions, and recommendations;Provide analytical leadership, project management, and data related to Supply Chain Analyst activities related to the SAP implementation;Provide analytical leadership, support, project management across key Supply Chain projects or initiatives;Provide suggested path forward on such initiatives, including areas related to opening/closing of manufacturing facilities or distribution locations, identifying new supply chain systems or technology, determining new raw material suppliers, identifying optimal location for new facilities, and overall support related to potential acquisitions; andPerforming validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy, and reformulate models, as necessary.Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field plus six (6) years of relevant experience. Experience must include: 6 years experience in Supply Chain/Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations, or Business Analytics environment; 6 years experience with advanced knowledge / proficiency of Excel, specifically the ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data, and the capability of determining the inter-relationships of input and output data with respect to a data model; 5 years experience in conducting analysis and providing recommendations for supply chain problems using technology such as any one or a combination of ETL software (Alteryx), Structured Query Language (SQL), BigQuery, or Tableau for visualization; and 3 years experience in supply chain optimization, modeling, network de-sign, and advanced analytics tools, such as any one or a combination of Llamasoft or Coupa Supply Chain Guru. This is a hybrid role - may also work from home (up to 1 day a week on Friday) within commuting distance of the office. 5 days/40hrs/wk.
