Manager, CIB Fraud Risk Management

The responsibility for Fraud Risk Management is within the functional remit of the First Line of Defence (1LOD) and has been established as an enduring Global Fraud Risk Management function supporting Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB). The primary role purpose is to support the business in identifying and mitigating payment and card fraud risk and make informed risk decisions.
We are currently seeking hiring for the role of Manager, CIB Fraud Risk Management (Europe).
What you will do:
The role holder will primarily support a focus on Fraud Risk Management for CIB in Europe, responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing management strategies and deliverables with a core focus on Card and Payment Fraud..
In this role you will:
Mitigation of 3rd Party fraud risks (Payments and Cards) within CIB in Europe (HCIB) to ensure key fraud risks are identified and managed
Contribute in highlighting common issues, risks and best practice by working with the frontline, Global Payment Services (GPS) and Global CIB Fraud teams (1LOD & 2LOD), and outsourced partners including HBUK Fraud and BPCE (external)
End to end oversight of outsourced controls, read across of fraud related issues and issue management.
Completion of regulatory fraud reports expected by our regulators (e.g. OSCAMP, REP017, Unauthorised Fraud notification, Transaction Risk Analysis (TRA))
Management of the CIB Fraud governance framework for Europe, timely and accurate reporting to Group committees/ external stakeholders and development/use of MI and issues reporting to address and/or risk accept identified residual risk levels
Holistic review and challenge of investigations following disputes of bank card transactions by cardholders, notably files with significant net losses or escalated by our external/internal service provider for advice (reimbursement or rejection of the cardholder's request), or new fraud scenarios
You should apply if you have:
Ability to work independently and apply judgement/critical thinking to identify risks and trends.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way.
Good command of office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Detail orientated with the ability to collect, organise and interpret statistical information
Knowledge of Payment and Card fraud typologies would be an advantage.
Good understanding of the HCIB organization with experience in working across multiple geographies advantageous.
Spoken and written fluency in French and English
