Job Title: Claims Processor
Location: Paramus, NJ (Hybrid – must be local)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm (6 months contract to permanent)
Pay Rate: $22.55/hr
Hours: Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm
Join our team as a Claims Coordinator! In this role, you’ll play a key part in processing and overseeing medical and vision claims for our doctor practices. You’ll submit claims, resolve denials, post payments, and help ensure both our patients and practice partners have a seamless billing experience. If you’re detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and have at least 3 years of medical billing and coding experience, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do:
Submit medical claims through our EHR system and clearing house
Resolve denied or rejected claims, and research open balances
Post payments and manage explanation of payments (EOPs)
Assist patients and staff with billing and insurance questions
Initiate refunds to patients and overpayment repayments to carriers
Support practice teams and help maximize claim collections
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years’ experience in medical billing/coding
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational/communication skills
Prior experience with EHR and insurance carriers
Ability to work onsite 2x per week (local candidates only)
