Adventure Land Academy LLC is looking for a Child care teacher in Paramus, NJ, Bachelor’s Degree, knowledge or certificate in: early childhood education and care, how to promote positive behavior, early childhood development, intentional care for infants, toddlers, and twos, early childhood physical activity for toddlers and preschoolers, First Aid CPR. Send CV to adlandacademy@gmail.comDuties: - Greet children/families; support smooth dropoff and separation, helping them remove outerwear, and selecting activities of interest to them;- Attend to children's basic needs by feeding them, dressing them, changing their diapers, providing free play/centers, outdoor time, and naps;- Set up and rotate developmentally appropriate centers (blocks, dramatic play, art, fine motor, books, sensory);- Coach feeling words and simple regulation tools;- Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and field trips;- Teach basic skills, such as color, shape, number, and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills (handwashing, dressing, cleaning up, serving food);- Family communication to discuss their children's progress and needs, determine their priorities for their children, and suggest ways that they can promote learning and development;- Maintain accurate and complete each child records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations;- Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities;- Follow center policies, licensing regulations, and confidentiality standards.
