Bank of Bird-in-Hand is actively seeking a Commercial Lender to join our team in Paradise. The Commercial Lender is responsible for managing relationships with existing clients and assisting with the growth of the bank.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals through outside sales and managing existing customer relationships.
2. Contributing to the profitability and growth of the Bank by building, developing, and managing new and expanded client relationships with retail customers.
3. Sourcing prospects and developing new customer relationships by selling appropriate bank products and services to those prospects and clients and identifying and successfully capitalizing on cross-sell opportunities and making appropriate referrals
4. Managing loan and portfolio credit quality.

Preferred Skills:

1. Commercial lending background
2. Excellent relationship management and business development/sales skills
3. Advanced knowledge of credit and credit quality
4. Advanced knowledge of bank products and services
5. Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
2. 5-10 years of experience in relationship management banking
