We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operational functions, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output. This position is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment, particularly those with an interest in machining, printing, and quality control processes. Day or night shifts available.
Responsibilities
Assist Press operators.
Learn the operation and maintenance of printing and converting equipment.
Set up and run your station effectively and efficiently.
Monitor and adjust equipment as necessary during production runs.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep.
Essential Skills
Machine operation and general labor.
Mechanically inclined with a basic understanding of quality control processes within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Printing, production, and mechanical aptitude.
Troubleshooting skills.
Experience with hand tools and printing presses.

Work Environment
Work in a printing press environment within a manufacturing setting, with shifts from Monday to Thursday, 4pm - 2:30am.

This is a Contract position based out of Paola, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.70/hr.
