Summary:
Seeking an experienced Back-of-House (BOH) Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations in a high-volume restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have prior kitchen management experience and strong leadership skills to ensure food quality, safety, efficiency, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure quality standards
- Maintain food safety and sanitation compliance
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
- Create and manage staff schedules
- Train and mentor kitchen team members
- Ensure smooth communication between BOH and FOH teams
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure proper usage
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Minimum 24 months (2 years) of kitchen management experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations
