A Brief Overview

The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for overall oversight of Marketing team deliverables, managing overall high level timelines and managing expectations of key internal clients. The job entails the following:

• Driving the successful delivery of marketing projects

• Stakeholder and resource management across a portfolio of various projects ranging from creative services, content creation, events, digital marketing, and advertising/marketing

• Coordinates internal resources and outside vendors to deliver projects according to each engagement's defined scope

• Work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible, and will hire new talent as needed to fulfill client needs. Candidate is a creative and dedicated individual who will fit with our collaborative culture.

• Develop and produce financial and management reports

• Analyze new program/project proposals, evaluate intake, analyze performance of existing programs, develop business plan projections for proposed programs

• Develop methodologies for tracking and reporting progress and performance of projects/programs

What you will do

    1. Program Management (25%)a. Leads and manages process improvement; own overall coordination of marketing team projects related to overall programb. Ensures that project/program is in alignment with overall marketing program, projects and prioritiesc. Builds out project plans for team-wide transparency as well as high visibility across Marketing departmentd. Documents program learnings for incorporation into future standard work process
    1. Project Management (50%)a. Support and manage marketing initiativesb. Interface with project sponsors and work across multiple teamsc. Act as driver for project, accountable for end-to-end completion of total projectd. Communicate project status to internal team, clients, and vendorse. Manage review and approval processf. Meet with clients to ascertain scope of work and clarify specific requirements of each projectg. Delegate project tasks internally and externally based on individual strengths, skill sets and experience levelsh. Track project/campaign performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goalsi. Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared and agreed upon with clients as well as other staff members
    1. Budget & ROI Management (25%)a. Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysisb. Develop detailed, multi-year business plan information for proposed programs including goals, specific actions, timelines, metrics and measures for on-going tracking, investment requirement, and economic performance over time

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university.

Experience Qualifications

  • Four (4) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.

  • • Relevant work experience in marketing, advertising, creative, e-commerce or related field• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple detail-oriented projects simultaneously• Demonstrated experience in achieving goals on time, with attention to detail and the resourcefulness to proactively identify and resolve potential problems and communicate any change in priorities to impacted stakeholders.• Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration and negotiation skills.• Strong communication skills—written, verbal and presentation.• Experience in rebranding a company or product is a plus.• Familiarity with project management software (preferably Workfront and SmartSheets).• Experience with process improvement and resource allocation.• Advanced time management and analytical skills.• Demonstrated experience in project management a marketing, creative or agency environment.

  • Thoughtful and strategic approach to problem solving

  • A seasoned, experienced professional with general understanding of various facets of marketing and content creation

  • Experience in an environment which encompasses managing both large and lengthy projects to fast short-order work is essential

  • Ability to understand and contribute to complex marketing initiatives

  • Ability to manage multiple content projects on short deadlines

  • Ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team

  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to motivate and drive collaboration with other departments and stakeholders without direct authority over those groups

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to quickly prioritize and comprehend through a framework to organize multiple parallel projects and priorities

  • Experience with project management tools and building project plans and frameworks for others to utilize

  • Manage an overall program with multiple team members and deliverables

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $55.85 - $74.00 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
