Insight Global Full-Stack Web Developer in Palo Alto, California
Job Description
An employer is seeking a Full-stack Web Developer to join their team in Palo Alto, CA. He or she will be joining an innovative team working on cutting-edge digital products, including an exciting new streaming/TV platform launch for their consumer products. The role is front-end heavy, requiring a strong visual sensibility and technical depth across the full stack, with a focus on delivering exceptional user-facing experiences. The ideal candidate brings an entrepreneurial mindset, thrives in a startup-like environment within a large enterprise, and is comfortable owning features end-to-end. The Web Developer will be responsible for:
Developing and maintaining responsive, high-performance web applications with a strong emphasis on front-end architecture and user experience
Build and optimize UI components using modern JavaScript frameworks
Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into polished, pixel-perfect interfaces
Contribute to back-end development as needed using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies
Participate in product launches and feature rollouts, including the organization's streaming platform initiative
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical standards and team best practices
This role is onsite 3 days a week and will convert to a full-time position around 6 months of employment, depending on budget and performance. Hourly rates for this role range form $60 - $71/hr depend on skillset and feedback from the client.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of full stack web development experience with demonstrated front-end depth
Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred, Vue or Angular acceptable)
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive/mobile-first design principles
Back-end development experience (Node.js, Python, or similar)
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating third-party services
Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub)
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with design and product teams, ideally front a start-up environment as one of the only developers
Portfolio or examples of front-end work demonstrating strong visual and technical execution Experience with streaming platforms, media tech, or e-commerce environments
