Business Office Manager (Healthcare)

As the Business Office Manager, you will direct the overall Business Office activities in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as directed by the Administrator, to assure the proper administrative procedures are maintained.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain resident trust accounts

  • Assist Patients with Medicaid Applications

  • Maintain current status of all patient account balances

    Educational and Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Accounting or related field or two (2) years of experience

  • Previous experience in business office operations required.

  • Previous healthcare experience required.

The primary purpose of the job position is to develop, implement and maintain systems to operate the business offices for our quaint two nursing homes in Palmyra, Campbelltown areas in an effective, efficient manner so that the facility will be financially sound. Responsible for all Medicaid Applications, Private collections, and handling of Resident funds. Compiles accounting statistics and functions as the account liaison between the facility and the corporate office. Follows all regulations and policies under which the facility is governed.

Experience with Point Click Care, and Microsoft Office is preferred

Healthcare Experience is required.
