Honeywell Senior Refurbish & Overhaul Maintenance Technician (1st shift) in Palmetto, Florida
As a Senior Refurbish and Overhaul Maintenance Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in maintaining and refurbishing advanced process technology equipment at our LNG site. You will apply your technical expertise to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of critical systems, contributing directly to operational excellence and uptime.
You will report directly to our Maintenance Manager and you’ll work out of our Palmetto, Florida location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and safety of our LNG operations by performing high-level maintenance, refurbishment, and overhaul tasks. Your work will ensure that our process technology equipment operates at peak performance, supporting Honeywell’s commitment to delivering innovative and reliable solutions in the energy sector
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1st shift 7:00am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday
Perform refurbishment and overhaul maintenance on process technology equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime and optimize equipment reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering and operations to plan and execute maintenance activities effectively.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs to support regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
YOU MUST HAVE
6+ years experience in refurbish and overhaul maintenance, preferably in process technology or LNG environments.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in process technology, including instrumentation and control equipment.
Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of complex industrial equipment to ensure operational reliability.
Experience with maintenance management systems and adherence to safety and regulatory compliance standards.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures accurately.
WE VALUE
Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Technology.
Experience working in LNG or energy sector maintenance environments.
Familiarity with Honeywell process technology products and systems is a plus.
Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
