ITW GSE DIVISION

The ITW GSE Division is an industry leading manufacturer of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to the aviation industry.

Core customers are Airports and Airlines in all countries around the World.

Core products are Power Supply Units and Pre-Conditioned Air units for aircrafts parked on the ground.

The ITW GSE has 2 factories and 2 sales offices:

ITW GSE Americas, Palmetto Florida

ITW GSE International, Odense Denmark

Sales Office Dubai

Sales Office Singapore

Organizationally ITW GSE is part of the Specialty Products Segment of Illinois Tool Works (ITW).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understands and defines customer needs and problems. Resolves and/or troubleshoots GSE utilizing technical expertise, product manuals and technical documentation. (usually at customer site)

  • Instruct customers in equipment Operation and Maintenance Training utilizing developed training materials.

  • Always treat the customer with respect and provide outstanding professional company representation in the service / support of ITW GSE products.

  • Assist the Inside Technical Support team answering incoming technical calls and customer emails.

  • Tracks trends in equipment issues for improvement opportunities, and utilize metrics to assure the team is providing superior support our customers expect, and setting goals for department improvements

  • Participate in company improvement initiatives to continuously improve the Customer and Sales Support Team’s performance while providing outstanding service to customers and using CBI to improve customer satisfaction with our products.

  • Utilize ITW principles and philosophies: simplification, integrity, trust, respect, and shared risk

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS

  • Professional Experience – Field Technical Service and/or After Sales in a manufacturing environment. Any Aerospace experience will be a bonus. Relevant education will be considered in lieu of experience.

  • Functional Experience / Education – Power Electronics / High Voltage battery systems / Industrial Air conditioning systems or any HVAC experience at minimum will be a bonus. Ability to work, with minimal supervision, intuitive problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of Customer Service as well as strong communication skills.

  • Computer Skills - Above average computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office products. Ability to record and document work to submit in timely manner.

  • Language – Fluent in English & Spanish – any other language will be a bonus.

  • Education – Associates Degree in Electrical Technology required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience or certifications can be considered in combination with Education.

  • Travel - Frequent travel required, including international travel. Valid passport needed. Estimated at 85%
