Job Summary: A1 Electric LLC is seeking a dependable and motivated Wireman to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Pull wire, install conduit, and assist with electrical rough-in and finish work
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and support diagnostics and repairs
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable electrical codes and safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices
- Ability to read and follow instructions and technical documents
- Valid drivers license preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous electrical or construction experience
- Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program
- OSHA 10 or other safety certifications
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
Work Environment:
- Residential and commercial job sites throughout the Mat-Su Valley and surrounding areas
- Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
