As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing and treating mental, emotional and behavioral disorders. You will be providing patients with psychotherapy and work to stop their symptoms. This position requires a great deal of medical knowledge. You should be compassionate; your goal is to provide psychiatric expertise and care to patients who have difficult mental health problems.
