Job Summary: Responsible for cleaning the public area and assisting the room attendants
General Hospitality Job Functions:
-Maintain the Resort’s customer service standards and uphold the mission statement through the strict follow up of the hospitality rules
-Maintain and abide to time clock rules, report to work area on time
-Keep high grooming standard at all times and keep work area clean and organized
-Wear, maintain and follow uniform standards at all times
-Must become familiar and proficient in all aspects of the property, departments, locations, hours of operations, rooms, activities, etc. respond to guests accurately
-Use guest etiquette at all times
-Follow proper handling procedures of inquiries/requests and complaints standards and maintain the guest satisfaction at all times
-Use proper telephone etiquette and answering techniques when answering the telephone
-Anticipate guest’s needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests at all times
-Maintain positive guest relations at all times
-Follow proper emergency and safety procedures at all times
-Assist all disabled guests, catering to their special needs as much as possible
Typical Duties:
-Sweeps and mops on a daily basis guest corridors in the assigned area
-Sweeps and mops on a daily basis or as needed the Lobby area when assigned
-Carries all sheets to the laundry
-Takes out trash out of the maid carts and brings them to the designated area
-Assists the laundry attendant with washing and drying of all Resort laundry items on request
-Carries laundry carts to linen rooms
-Re-stocks maid carts with clean linen
-Any other reasonable duties as required
-Performs other similar or related duties as necessary
Education/Qualifications:
-Min. EPB education
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
-Able to communicate in English and Spanish
-Strong physical condition
