Job Description Summary
We are seeking a results-oriented Process Improvement & Project Management Specialist to drive operational excellence across our project execution teams. This role combines strategic process optimization, quality management, and project coordination to enhance team performance and deliver measurable improvements in project outcomes.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Process & Quality Improvement
Lead process optimization initiatives focused on documentation standards and configuration management
Design, implement, and maintain quality management systems and standard operating procedures
Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops with cross-functional teams
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions
Drive standardization of processes across project execution teams
Establish and maintain documentation control systems ensuring compliance and accessibility
Performance Management & Analytics
Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for project execution
Create dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor process effectiveness
Analyse performance data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
Set performance targets and drive accountability across teams
Present insights and recommendations to leadership based on data analysis
Project Management
Manage process improvement projects from initiation through completion
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time
Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
Monitor project progress and proactively address risks and issues
Ensure alignment of project activities with organizational objectives
Strategic Planning & Assessment
Conduct comprehensive surveys and assessments of current processes and capabilities
Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and understand pain points
Develop strategic roadmaps for process improvement and capability enhancement
Prioritize improvement initiatives based on impact and feasibility
Define success criteria and measurement frameworks for improvement programs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
Master degree is nice to have
Preferred: Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt minimum, Black Belt preferred)
Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
12+ years of experience in process improvement, quality management, or operations excellence
Proven track record of leading successful Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience developing and managing KPIs and performance measurement systems
Demonstrated project management experience with multiple concurrent projects
Background in documentation management and configuration control
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 or similar)
Familiarity with project management software (MS Project, Jira, Asana, etc.)
Experience with process mapping and workflow optimization tools
Understanding of configuration management principles
