Quality Inspector -- 1st Shift (On-site | Full-Time | Painesville, OH)

Position Details:
Location: On-site in Painesville, OH
Schedule: Full-time, Monday--Friday, First Shift
Employment Type: Hourly
Responsibilities Include:
- Interpreting blueprints, specs, and process documents to verify compliance
- Conducting in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
- Recording inspection results clearly and accurately
- Collaborating with production and engineering to ensure product quality
- Supporting quality audits, training, and customer return evaluations
- Promoting and maintaining quality assurance standards throughout the production floor
- Assisting with production duties when not performing inspections
- Following safety and compliance protocols
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience inspecting small or intricate parts
- Proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, vision systems, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, and depth perception
- Must wear safety glasses in designated areas
- Must pass post-offer physical exam
