SummaryJob Description:Medical Technologist MLT - PRNPrepares, performs and records testing procedures in accordance with established criteria as assigned with any or all the sections of the Clinical Laboratory.Job Duties- Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results.- Be capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and either must correct the problems or immediately notify the coordinator.- Participate in Laboratory Quality program. Maintain records that demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient samples.- Perform tasks at an acceptable pace to ensure the prompt reporting of accurate patient results.
