Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes Child Protection Services Program Manager in Pablo, Montana

The Child Protection Services (CPS) Program Manager, directly supervises the daily activities of all CPS Workers, Intervention Workers and the CPS Support Staff Worker. This Worker will oversee above listed social worker's child protection risk and safety assessments, case management for abused and neglected children in TSSD Custody and Care. This Worker provides technical support, training and guidance to staff and guidance to community partners to develop support and service partnerships and expands community options for clients and families; perform related duties. This position possesses specialized knowledge of the child welfare system as well as knowledge in ICWA case transfer, case and grant requirements. This Worker must adhere to a variety of regulations including but not limited to the following 66 BIA Manual; Title IV-E requirements, Adoption and Safe Families Act (ASFA), Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA), Tribal Children's Legal Code, Tribal Social Services Manual, practice and adhere to federal tribal regulations of licensing foster parents as well as federal and state requirements for Montana Transitional Living Program (MLT) and adhere to/implement the NASW Code of Ethics. This Worker is also responsible for learning the requirements set forth in the Families First Prevention Act. This Worker provides care coordination case management services, child protection services, child welfare investigations, prevention and coordination. This Worker must have a working knowledge of the Montana State CAPS/MFSIS Database System. Provides overview of CPS Program and other agencies upon request.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a BA in Social Work, Sociology, or Psychology. This position is a testing designated position (TOP).
