Cabela's Lead Maintenance - 2nd Shift in Ozark, United States
POSITION SUMMARY:
The 2nd shift position hours are 5pm - 3:30 am (Monday-Thursday) and includes a $2 shift differential
The Maintenance Lead is responsible for the upkeep of equipment, training and guidance for Maintenance outfitters, and ensuring standard procedures are followed for work safety and quality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Trains and lead general maintenance outfitters to ensure job duties are accomplished accurately in a safe manner within appropriate time allotted.
Assists Maintenance Manager with managing, guiding, coaching and adjusting as needed to accomplish goal.
Orders and maintains supplies for department (as needed).
Maintains safety equipment and oversees material and maintenance projects.
Identifies, improves, and tracks safety, quality, and delivery opportunities.
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certificate(s) or License(s): Forklift/Truck Certified
Years of experience: 5+ years in Industrial Maintenance, preferred
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Electrical experience/troubleshooting in Motor Controls 24 VDC-460 VAC, preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Electrical skills.
Ability to read and understand schematics.
Written and verbal communication.
Understand SQDC Metrics.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly walks, stands and lifts up to 50 lbs.
Occasionally sits and works on a computer.
Additional Physical Requirements:
Moderate lifting, 21-59 lbs.
Moderate carrying, 21-59 lbs.
Straight pulling, pushing, repeated bending and reaching over shoulders.
Use of fingers.
Walking, standing, kneeling, repeated stretching.
Specific visual requirements.
Ability to distinguish basic colors and shades of color.
Hearing (aid permitted).
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :
Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
