Motobilt,Inc., located in Ozark, AL, is currently looking for a skilled
Bookkeeper
/Office Manager
with extensive Quickbooks Online experience. This position is responsible for managing all business-related activities of the Corporation including payroll processing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, personnel files, supervising office related work and staff, maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards and communicating with management on all appropriate matters.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Payroll

Time, Attendance, and Payroll Responsible for processing weekly payroll for all employees including exempt and non-exempt
Oversee timecards and support managers on using the timekeeping system
Ensure we use compliant practices and record keeping and the appropriate payroll processes, laws and regulations are adhered to
Assist employees with payroll questions
Enroll all new hires into payroll and benefit systems
Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance deductions
Contact various department supervisors/managers for any missed times
Pull many internal management reports
Timely termination of employees in both payroll and benefit systems
Accounts Payable

Review and verify invoices and check requests
Sort, code and match invoices to purchase orders and invoices
Set invoices up for payment
Prepare and perform check runs
Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
Maintain vendor files, correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
