Amergis Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (School) in Oxnard, California
Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, onsite school-based assignment in Oxnard, CA. This position begins ASAP and continues through the remainder of the school year. The SLPA will float between school sites.
The SLPA will support the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering high-quality speech and language services, assisting with treatment, documentation, and educational activities within the established plan of care.

Contract Length: Remainder of school year (approx. 3 months)

Interview: Virtual interview required
P ay Packages:
Local: $ 2,080/week
Travel: $ 2,360/week
Travel package includes meals & housing stipends.
Responsibilities
Assist the SLP in providing speech and language therapy services
Support treatment sessions and educational activities
Document services according to the student’s plan of care
Perform therapy-related tasks under SLP supervision
Maintain compliance with professional and district standards
Collaborate with school staff to support student progress
Minimum Requirements
Associate’s degree from an accredited SLPA program or bachelor’s in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders
Minimum 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience
Active California SLPA license
One year of SLPA experience preferred
TB test, PPD, or chest X-ray (as applicable)
Current health certificate (per state/contract requirements)
Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
OSD Livescan + transcripts required
