Amergis Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (School) in Oxnard, California

Amergis is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support speech and language services in a school setting. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside an experienced SLP in a supportive educational environment.
Position Overview
The SLPA will assist the Speech Language Pathologist in delivering high-quality speech and language services to students. Responsibilities include:
Supporting treatment and therapy activities
Assisting with clinical and educational tasks
Helping maintain documentation
Working within the plan of care established by the SLP and/or physician
Providing services within SLPA scope and state guidelines
Minimum Requirements
Graduate of an SLPA program with an associate’s degree OR a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Minimum 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience (per state/contract requirements)
Current SLPA certification or licensure in the state of practice
Compliance with all professional standards of practice
1 year of SLPA experience preferred
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as applicable)
Current health certificate (if required by state or contract)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be 18 years or older
Pay DetailsTravel SLPA
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr
Meals: $600/week
Housing: $1,100/week
Total Package: $2,360/week
Local SLPA
Pay Rate: $52/hr
Total Package: $2,080/week
