This role offers an opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care and documentation in close collaboration with the nursing team in an acute care hospital setting. Responsibilities
Work in partnership with the nursing team to support safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care.
Complete and maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in alignment with organizational standards.
Assist with routine patient care activities as directed by licensed nursing staff, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for every patient.
Support a high level of customer and patient satisfaction by responding promptly and professionally to patient needs and requests.
Carry out daily tasks in a cost-effective manner while maintaining high quality of care.
Demonstrate and uphold the organization’s core values of dignity, collaboration, justice, stewardship, and excellence in all interactions.
Work assigned 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekend schedules as required.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in a supportive, team-oriented environment where staff are encouraged to help one another.
Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines while performing clinical and non-clinical duties.
Essential Skills
Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience or training in patient care within a medical or health care environment.
Ability to accurately document and update medical records and patient information.
Capacity to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating weekend schedule, including nights.
Strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a nursing and interdisciplinary care team.
Reliability and professionalism in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
CNA license preferred or completion of a Medical Assisting diploma program.
Openness to learning and participating in structured training plans, including for entry-level candidates.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support patients, families, and colleagues.
Ability to align daily work with the organization’s vision and core values.
Customer service mindset with a focus on maintaining high patient satisfaction.
Work Environment
This is an on-site role in a hospital environment that offers a full complement of services, including trauma, obstetrics, pediatrics, cardiac, and surgical care. The position follows 12-hour night shifts, typically from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a weekends-only schedule from Friday through Sunday and the ability to work rotating weekends as needed. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
