ManpowerGroup Lead Operating Engineer in Oxford, Ohio
Our client, a leading organization in facility management and engineering services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Operating Engineer 4 to join their team. As a Lead Operating Engineer 4, you will be an integral part of the engineering department supporting building operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Manage and oversee the daily operations of building mechanical systems including HVAC, chillers, boilers, pumps, and electrical equipment.
Implement and supervise maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to ensure safety, compliance, and optimal building performance.
Lead and support a team of technicians, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate documentation for building systems and safety protocols.
What's Needed?
Associate Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
7+ years of facility-related work experience, including customer service, leadership, and supervisory roles.
Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance processes, HVAC, fluid handling, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
Certification as a Universal Technician for CFCs (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment) and an Operating Engineers license (SMA) or equivalent.
