The successful candidate will:

  • Teach a range of undergraduate and graduate courses in music theory and related areas
  • Coordinate and develop the music theory curriculum, ensuring coherence, innovation, and alignment with program goals
  • Advise and mentor both undergraduate and graduate students
  • Contribute actively to departmental, divisional, and university service

About the Program

Miami University's music program is undergoing exciting growth, including the launch of a Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry with tracks in Music Production and Music Business. The theory curriculum plays a vital role in supporting both traditional and emerging pathways for students.
