Aerotek Multi Craft Maintenance Technician in Oxford, North Carolina

Maintenance Technician — $26–$35/hr

We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting experience to support tooling and equipment across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, conveyors, and equipment.

  • Support tooling requirements for new products and complete equipment changeovers.

  • Perform set‑ups on filling and assembly equipment.

  • Monitor material usage and maintain scrap within standards.

  • Adjust/repair process equipment such as filling heads, cappers, labelers, pumps, and weighers.

  • Load components at startup and respond to plant‑wide maintenance needs.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and maintain related documentation.

  • Operate shop tools (excluding CNC).

  • Make electrical panel adjustments following safety practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong pneumatic/hydraulic knowledge.

  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills (volt meter, relays).

  • Ability to read blueprints/schematics.

  • 3–5 years industrial or preventative maintenance experience.

  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred

  • Experience in automotive or glass manufacturing.

  • Ability to train others and use power tools safely.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Ability to lift 50 lb and move drums up to 400 lb.

Shifts

  • 1st: 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM

  • 2nd: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM

  • 3rd: 10:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oxford, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr.
