Cassia Bus/ Van Driver in Oxford, Florida
Trinity Springs, a Cassia community, is hiring a Bus/ Van Driver to join our team in Oxford, FL. At Trinity Springs, you'll be part of a supportive, mission-driven team that takes pride in making a difference every day for residents and families alike. For this position, you will undergo a DOT physical and background screening to for monitoring of driver's license.
As a Bus/ Van Driver you will drive a 15-passenger bus to help with access for our residents by bringing them to scheduled events. The ideal candidate is a safe driver with a positive attitude and experience supporting seniors, ready to manage scheduled trips and maintain the bus to standards.
Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule
Wage Range: $14.50 - $17.00 / hour depending on experience
Shifts Available: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with potential to drive outside of scheduled hours for residential events

Bus/ Van Driver Responsibilities:
Drive the bus for schedule resident and employee outings.
Complete proper documentation, including daily logs and quarterly reports.
Track and schedule maintenance for the bus.
Complete daily upkeep for the bus including filling up gas, washer fluid, etc.
Communicate with different sites regarding time and location of daily trips.
Follow-through on projects with little supervision.
Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job related instructions.
Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.
Perform other duties as requested.
Bus/ Van Driver Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
DOT Physical and background screening required.
Must be 21 years of age or older due to federal DOT licensing requirements.
Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
Good driving record: no moving violations for the last two years.
Experience working with persons with memory loss and physical disabilities is desired.
Friendly, outgoing and positive personality.
