SB & Company, LLC Senior Government Auditor in Owings Mills, Maryland
Assist accounting firms management in planning engagement objectives, and implementing audit strategies for government entities to comply with professional standards and addressing risks. Research background information and communicate with government entities in accordance with governmental accounting requirements. Review and update analytical review of internal controls and audit programs for approval by the firms management. Resolve technical problems and review documentation throughout the audit process. Maintain up to date knowledge of governmental accounting through research, continuing professional education, attending industry training and conferences.
Requirements: At least a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or other business related major with
3 years experience working as an auditor focused on evaluating internal control, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
