Stainless TIG Welder – Oviedo, FL
Pay: $20–$25 per hour (based on weld test)
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM – 3:30/4:00 PM
Schedule: 4‑day workweek

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Stainless TIG Welder for a stable, long‑term position with a well‑established manufacturing company. This role is ideal for welders who take pride in producing high‑quality work and want to join a team that values craftsmanship and continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for performing precision TIG welding on stainless‑steel sheet metal (14–12 gauge) and stainless piping ranging from 2 3/8" down to 3/8" diameter using gas‑purge techniques. The position involves reading blueprints, setting up components, following work instructions, and ensuring all welds meet tight tolerance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high‑quality TIG welding on stainless‑steel sheet metal and pipe
Use foot‑pedal TIG welding and gas‑purge methods
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Set up and prepare components for welding
Inspect completed welds to ensure accuracy and tolerance compliance
Assist with basic fabrication tasks as needed
Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
Perform basic preventative maintenance on welding equipment
Required Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of TIG welding experience (stainless steel required)
Strong proficiency with sheet metal and pipe welding
Ability to perform precise, clean welds using foot‑pedal TIG welding
Experience with gas‑purge welding for stainless piping
Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and fabrication drawings
Knowledge of standard fabrication shop practices
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to identify and recommend process improvements
Additional Preferred Skills
Experience in stainless‑steel fabrication
Familiarity with tolerances, measuring tools, and inspection processes
Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
