Occupational Therapist (OT) — Maternity Leave Coverage

Overland Park, KS | Up to $55/hour

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to cover a maternity leave for a supportive school district in Overland Park, Kansas. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a well-established program, support students’ success, and enjoy a defined contract with competitive pay.

Position Overview

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating students, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and providing services that support student participation and achievement in the school setting. Services will be delivered across elementary and middle school campuses.

Assignment Details

  • Start Date: April 10, 2026-May 22, 2026

  • Contract Length: Approximately 6 weeks

  • Hours per Week: 37.5

  • Setting: Floating between 1 elementary and 1 middle school

  • Location: Overland Park, KS

  • Pay: Up to $55 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform student evaluations and interpret results

  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services

  • Document services in accordance with established plans of care

  • Collaborate with school staff and comply with all professional standards of practice

Minimum Requirements

  • Current Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of practice

  • One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred

  • Compliance with all applicable professional standards

  • Current CPR certification, if applicable

  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable

  • Current health certificate per contract or state regulations

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
